What is the VVBW?

The Vail Valley Business Women is dedicated to being the number one organization for professional women in the Vail Valley.  Our mission is to serve as a forum for networking and the exchange of business ideas, to improve and foster the business skills of women and to provide up-to-date information for women. We offer a variety of programs in a relaxed atmosphere to promote networking and referrals with the intention to inspire others to grow to new levels, both personally and professionally.

Upcoming Meetings
Thank you to everyone who attended our Holiday Event. We had a great turnout and a very successful event. We raised $2700 in our silent auction, the proceeds of which will be donated to local charities, as well as used in our annual CMC Scholarship Fund. We also had a great response for our toy drive to benefit Bright Future Foundation. Thanks to everyone for your donations to the auction and the toy drive. A full listing of auction donors will be posted soon. Our next event will be held on Wednesday, January 11th at the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort & Spa. This event will feature a presentation by Susan P. Ascher, author of the book “Dude, Seriously, I’ts Not All About You.” Susan uses humor to discuss how communications and protocol have forever changed how we connect and interact with co-workers, clients, friends and family in the New Millenium. From netiquette to filters, Susan addresses how to differentiate yourself in the new year and dare to stand out from the ordinary in the 24/7 nanosecond world we now live in. Registration and Networking from 5:30 – 6:15. Dinner and presentation to follow. RSVPs are due by Friday, January 6th. Evite will be sent out just prior to the Christmas holiday. Cost: Free for Gold members $25 for Silver members $35 for non-members. Discounted valet parking available at the Marriott. Complimentary self-parking in the Lionshead Parking Structure.
